Meet Your Spanish Teacher

Hi! I'm Valentina.

I am a native Spanish speaker from Córdoba, Argentina. My teaching journey started in 2019 on Italki, where I discovered my passion for connecting with students from all over the world. In 2021, I launched SpanishCard to offer a more personalized and engaging way to learn.

A curious mind. I believe the best conversations happen when we share our interests. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology and spent years working in scientific research. However, I discovered that my true passion lies in financial education. That is why I am currently on the path to becoming a Financial Advisor. I am also deeply interested in psychology, economics, and healthy living.

I’ve been in your shoes. Learning a language is a challenge, and I understand it firsthand. I achieved C1 levels in English and German simultaneously through international exams, and I learned Italian on my own. But I didn’t just study from books… I lived in Germany for three months, traveling across the country, and I also spent time in Brazil, England, and other parts of Europe, South and Central America. I visit the United States frequently to see family, but my curiosity is endless: I still have much of the world to see, like Asia, Africa, and Oceania.

When I'm not teaching... You can find me analyzing the stock market, reading news and books, traveling, dancing, working out, or cooking healthy meals. I am also a proud "dog mom" to my two Border Collies, Athena and Canela, who keep my life fun and active.
